Advertising Inventory & Placement / Advertisers
Source advertising placements around your campaign.
Tell us where you want to advertise, when the campaign should run and what you want to promote. ModalSquare evaluates available placements against those requirements and coordinates a clearly defined proposal.
A brief with commercial context
Suitability starts with the campaign.
A placement needs to fit the market, campaign period, audience context, operator availability and budget. We review those requirements before proposing options; availability must be qualified for the actual dates.
Advertisers and agencies can start with the campaign requirement. Agencies do not need to disclose their client’s identity at first contact.
Understand the proposed scope
Know what you are buying.
- Location and environment
- Where the advertising appears and the surrounding commercial context.
- Campaign window
- Start and end dates, operating hours and applicable scheduling conditions.
- Unit of purchase
- The screen, billboard face, network package or other defined placement being proposed.
- Delivery terms
- Spot duration, rotation, share of loop, frequency or impression commitment, where applicable.
- Audience evidence
- The source, date and methodology of supplied audience or traffic information.
- Creative readiness
- Dimensions, file type, duration, sound, content restrictions and approval deadlines.
- Fulfillment evidence
- Available reporting, proof of posting or proof of play, as specified in the proposal.
Read the evidence correctly
A scheduled play is not an audience count.
Traffic passing a billboard, people present at a venue, scheduled plays and measured impressions are different measures. We review what supplied information actually describes rather than substituting one measure for another.
Audience or traffic information needs a stated source, date and methodology. Any reporting or delivery commitment belongs in the proposed placement terms.
From requirement to fulfillment
A defined process, with customer approval.
- Review the campaign brief.
- Source and qualify suitable options.
- Present placement terms and any creative scope.
- Complete customer approval and agreed payment requirements.
- Confirm the placement through the authorized operator process.
- Coordinate creative acceptance and agreed fulfillment evidence.
Sending an inquiry starts qualification. It does not reserve inventory or commit an operator.
Start with an inquiry
Tell us about the campaign.
Start with your business and the campaign requirement. Add the market, dates and budget if you have them.
Agencies can inquire under their own business name; your client’s identity is not required at first contact. An inquiry is not a reservation.

Practical questions
Before you inquire.
Can you review a short campaign window?
Yes. Timing is part of qualification, but short windows depend on actual operator availability, creative readiness and approval deadlines.
Can I specify a city or particular market?
Yes. Include the desired market and any location constraints. We assess suitable availability against that requirement.
Will the proposal use remnant inventory?
Only when suitable unsold capacity is available and its terms fit the campaign. Not every placement is remnant inventory, and discounts are not automatic.
What audience information will I receive?
We review the source, date and methodology of information supplied with an option. The proposal identifies available audience evidence and any agreed delivery commitment.
Can you help with the campaign creative?
For placements arranged through ModalSquare, creative creation or adaptation can be scoped against the destination’s requirements.
What happens after I send a brief?
We review the requirement and follow up on fit, missing details and potential next steps. A placement proceeds through customer approval, agreed payment requirements and the authorized operator process.
