Established 2005

Built at the Intersection of Technology, Assets and Commerce.

From AV and distributed digital systems to proprietary technology, procurement and commercial asset coordination, ModalSquare has evolved for more than two decades around a consistent purpose: connecting requirements with the resources needed to fulfill them.

The Throughline

We did not suddenly become this company. We evolved into it.

ModalSquare's operating history began in Western Europe in 2005 at the intersection of physical locations, displays, technology, content and commercial communications. Each stage added practical experience that now supports sourcing, procurement, asset placement and coordination across commercial and institutional opportunities.

Operating History

A progression of capabilities, not a collection of disconnected chapters.

  1. 2005

    Established in Western Europe

ModalSquare began in Western Europe in 2005, initially working across AV, digital and outdoor media. Work with franchises and multi-location organizations developed practical experience coordinating technology, content, vendors and standardized requirements across distributed locations.

  2. Multi-location

    Distributed Technology

As those requirements evolved, ModalSquare expanded beyond media into technology, developing proprietary systems for centrally managing digital displays and content across multiple locations. The company subsequently provided web and mobile technology solutions alongside its AV and digital capabilities.

  3. U.S. operations · 2016

    U.S. Operations

Beginning in 2016, ModalSquare's U.S. operations broadened the company's capabilities into procurement, commercial and surplus asset placement, AV, vendor coordination and public-sector contracting opportunities. The operating history begins in 2005; 2016 marks the development of its U.S. chapter.
